Our story

When we launched Auckland Weddings in August 2013, we weren't the first to come up with the idea of an online wedding directory. Two key differences set us apart: we would work with a curated collection of the best vendors, and we would focus at a city level. This way, our vendors and brides could be assured that everything we offered was tailored to their needs.

We wanted to build something that we would be proud to be a part of - a community of Auckland's best wedding suppliers presented on a clean, beautiful platform that perfectly showcased what they offered. We wanted to make it easy for brides to get inspiration, ideas and wedding advice and of course, to find the perfect suppliers for their dream wedding.

Many wedding sites have come and gone in the years since, but Auckland Weddings continues to gather momentum, with over 13000 unique visitors to the site every month and over 20,000 fans on social media.

It's simple really - we don't just put up a profile for a new vendor and wish them good luck. Instead, we work proactively to promote our vendors via the website itself, our blog, wedding showcase, email newsletter and social media channels.

We work consistently with our vendors to ensure their businesses are top of mind for brides looking for the best. We invest in great people and building the best platform we can, with continual design tweaks to create the best experience for brides and the best ROI for vendors.
