Your Wedding Dance, made easy Kia ora, I'm Dasha Speedy – founder of Dance by Dasha, specialising in wedding dance choreography. I've danced for as long as I can remember – Ballroom and Latin professionally, then Argentine tango and street & club styles. It means we can shape your first dance around your vision, and if you already dance something that means a lot to you and your family, like a cultural dance, we can build your routine around it. My HR background helps me adjust lessons to your pace and comfort. Classes are relaxed and private. No experience needed. Couples often tell me learning their dance was the most fun part of their wedding prep – would you like to give it a go? 10/10 would recommend. Dasher put us at ease for what could have been an awkward thing (given we aren’t proper dancers) and gave us confidence that we could shine on our wedding night. She took our music/vibe instructions well and designed a dance that was just for us - she is clearly a dance professional. She focused on what looks good for a wedding, not what elite dancers would do. Far better than anything we could have created ourselves. She also set clear homework so that our sessions with her were great value. Friendly, responsive, invested. Going to tell all my friends.
