All I can say is that I felt like such a princess on my wedding day. Everyone complimented my dress and two months later people still mention how gorgeous it was.

After being overwhelmed with the style/fit of ready made dresses, Anita was such a breath of fresh air. While I myself had no clue what would suit my figure (other than saying "Make me look pretty!"), Anita had a vision from the first day - she knew straight away how to make me look gorgeous.

Not only did Anita and her team do a flawless job throughout, but she also made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She is definitely someone who you can have a laugh with - this was needed when we were getting close to the wedding day.

Anita worked so hard on my dress and had to constantly make adjustments due to me losing weight. I got told off a bit (and we laughed about it) and then had to eat some cookies to make up for it. I made sure to take a picture for Anita too. Thank you for your awesome sense of humour, Anita!

Overall I wish I could rate Vinka a 10 out of 5 as I was just so impressed and thrilled with the final outcome. You made such a masterpiece for me and it is something I will always treasure. I look forward to being able to pass it down to the next generation someday xx

Being greeted by fabulous Anita was amazing, she made me feel so special her warmth and enthusiasm radiating. I brought a picture of a Vinka Bridal dress I saw in a magazine that I had fallen in love with. Anita she said she would make it for me so it suited my shape and I could then add anything I wanted to it. Anita is very professional, talented and so lovely. I felt so happy. I chose a lace bodice and flowing tulle organza skirt, it was a dress I have dreamed about since I was young it was beautifully crafted, romantic and perfect for me and our day. I was given some amazing comments on my dress from our family and guests and even our videographers made special mention of my dress and how well it fit me. This was truly only achieved by having the dress made to measure for my body. From the first meeting at Vinka I just knew this was where I would get my dress from, you were so welcoming, friendly and heaps of fun. At the very start of our engagement I was googling images of wedding dresses and, not being a very good ‘girl‘, I had no idea what I was looking for. However, a specific dress soon caught my eye. It was not only simple, elegant and - in my mind - perfect but also meant to be as I realized that the incredible designer and maker of this dress was only two hours north! I quickly phoned Vinka Design and the beautiful Anita told me that not only could I have that dress... but she could make it even better and uniquely suited for me! I had no clue how anything further than dialing the number worked but she patiently answered my numerous and, no doubt repetitive, questions made me more excited than I ever thought it would be possible to be over a piece of clothing and calmed my fears- all over the phone before we had even met! The process from here was streamlined and, amazingly, fun! She helped me to understand the dress and what would work for my body and, after our first meeting, fully understood not only what I wanted but also what I needed and designed (and created) the most beautiful dress for me... I don‘t think I have ever felt as beautiful as I did trying that dress on during fittings and on our special day and I don‘t know if I ever will. Anita and Vinka Designs helped me to stand next to my handsome husband and feel like I was someone he could be proud of; a feeling that is truly priceless. I do not believe that any other dress could have done this. Anita has a incredible understanding of people and my dress is a true reflection of that. Not only the beautiful design but the cut and quality of the fabric seemed to make my dress float around me when I walked. It was amazing! The quality of the fabric is certainly evident in the way it has caught the light in the photographs, people have asked me if the photographer was using some special lighting! As with most brides, when I got engaged the first thing I looked for was the dress! Of course the all important dress! I wasn’t sure what I wanted when I first began to look but when I walked into Vinka Design I knew within minutes that I was in the right place, the stunning designs, the incredibly beautiful fabrics and the immaculately perfect stitching and construction, I was in heaven! And when I looked at the price tags I was very pleasantly surprised, almost shocked at how reasonable the prices were. Anita was amazing to deal with, she was honest and flexible and I was very pleased that at the last minute she talked me into the beautiful full length veil with the tiniest little crystals sprinkled on it that she had put down the runway at fashion week the month before, it really did finish the look off beautifully. So beautifully that on the day, once I finally took it off, all the women lined up to try it on!! Thank you so much for creating my gorgeous wedding gown. Even now when I take a peak at it I‘m amazed by the amount of detail, skill and effort that has gone into it. Creating my gown was a fun and easy process - I arrived for my consultation with Anita with almost no idea of what I wanted (other than a dress that reflected me and not the trend of the season) and walked out with a sketch of my custom designed dress complete with fabric samples. I was given as much or as little input into the gown as I wanted. This meant that I could make decisions on the aspects that meant a lot to me, but also feel confident that you would take care of the rest. The final result was a one of a kind gown that truly reflected me - a perfect balance of ‘stunning‘ with a contemporary twist. And of course my husband absolutely loved it! Your talent and service is exceptional and anyone who wants to wear a personalised and memorable gown on their wedding day needs to visit Vinka Brides. -Marilyn

Wow- what girl can walk into a bridal designer for a consultation and try on the first gown and its perfect! That was my experience. Anita made me feel like I was special, had such in depth knowledge, offered hints along the journey to complete a perfect day. Every visit for a fitting was relaxed, fun and stress-free. I wanted my dress to be a complete surprise to my bridal party so replied solely on Anita and her team for their guidance and suggestions. They certainly did not disappoint. I have received so many compliments on my dress. It is a decision I would encourage all perspective brides to undertake. You certainly won’t be disappointed. Working with Anita at Vinka design was a truly great experience. From the moment I saw my dress I knew it was the one. Anita made me feel nothing but spectacular, right from the original concept through to the final design. Everything about dealing with her made me feel like an absolute princess and that there was nothing that could happen on the day that could take away from that magical feeling. Anita is truly passionate about what she does and it shows throughout every part of her work, right down to the smallest of details. My finished dress was more than I could have ever asked for and what the team at Vinka Design created was nothing short of amazing. When I booked my initial consultation with Vinka Bridal I was becoming what you might term a frazzled bride. With three months to turn around my dream wedding I was conscious of the fact that that was probably not quite long enough for your standard bridal boutique and I was probably looking at a dress that didn’t quite live up to my imaginations expectations. Luckily for me Vinka Bridal are not your standard bridal boutique. And the finished product? I can never express how pleased I was with it not to mention how in awe I still am of you wonderfully talented ladies and the way you turned a bolt of lace into a stunning classic wedding gown. I had so many comments about the dress on the day and have had countless compliments on it when showing off my wedding photos. Definitely everything that I wanted and more. I cant recommend Vinka Bridal enough, from consultation to the beautifully finished product my experience was amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
