Hi, I'm Ruth I've been a hair and makeup artist for about 10 years now, first learning makeup and then hair after feeling the strong desire to create full beauty looks for my brides, event clients and in my editorial work. My love for this industry stems and is fed by my love for working with women. Creating looks for people for special events feels very much to me like painting a beauty story of her life; consulting with them to hear small details that can come through in our conversation, on mood boards, in a colour of a bead or sparkle on her gown, that can be translated into her makeup and hair and create the look of her most divine dreams.

I hired Ruth for my wedding and she somehow did one bridal hair, SIX bridesmaids hair, as well as a mother of the groom hair AND makeup! And she did an absolutely amazing job! We had a huge variety of hair, long, short, waves, super curly, and pin straight, and Ruth was a pro for it all. Not only did she do amazing work, but she had a great attitude and energy. She made it a fun day for a bunch of tired gals and an anxious bride. We didn’t request it, or pay extra, but Ruth had a bunch of extra pins to put in everyone’s hair The bridesmaids got flowers, and pearls for the bride. This detail was so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Ruth for both hair and makeup services.
