Hey, I'm Sherrie A hairstylist with 15 years experience and the proud owner of Messy Bun for the past 4 years. My heart lies in creating beautiful bridal hairstyles. My career took a unique turn when I explored the skies as a flight attendant, allowing me to travel the world before pivoting to launch this amazing business due to Covid. Pukekohe is where I call home, with my cozy studio. Recently engaged to my partner of 10 years, we share our lives with our adorable cavoodle, Obi. I thrive on connecting with new people and bringing a fun and relatable vibe to everything I do. Can't wait to share more of my story with you and get to know yours! xx

Sherrie is an absolute gem to work with and was so happy to find her to do my ceremony hair style in December 2021 and then reception in Feb 2022. Straight away felt like a genuine friend when meeting her for a trail at her house salon. Friendly, bubbly and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome in her cute salon. Had innovative ideas and also included my own wishes. Both occasions my hair looked stunning despite difficult humidity and wet conditions. If I get married again would go back to Sherrie in a heartbeat. A+ reccomend! Thank you Sherrie.

I booked Sherrie for my bridal hair style and needless to say she was amazing! She went out of her way and helped out with my indian veil, bun accessories etc. Our 2nd hair stylist cancelled on my bridesmaids make up one day before the wedding and Sherrie stepped in to save the day! She was so accomodating and helpful in such stressful times! She came in early and worked on an extremely tight time schedule to fit everyone in! Can never thank her enough!
