I have been a professional makeup artist for 14 years and my love for all things beauty is never ending! You can often find me on location with beautiful brides or making someone glam for a special occasion. I was previously the national trainer for Smashbox Cosmetics, training all the makeup artists across NZ. I have led makeup teams & designed the runway looks at NZ Fashion Week, worked alongside international makeup artists & worked on many VIP clients. I would love to do your makeup too!

Sam is the best in the business! I had been insta-stalking her for years and she’s even more incredible in real life. Sam is amazingly talented on the tools but she brings so much fun, authenticity and passion for what she does. She will put you first and goes the extra mile for you. My makeup trial was thorough and the way she asks for feedback in such a professional yet calming way is something that comes so natural to her. With a big bridal party including our Mums etc having her amazing assistant Mindy there just added to the flow. All the bridal squad loved their look and their ability to add to the vibe of the day, keep on time and make it feel as though it truly is special (even when they do it week after week) was so appreciated. Thank you Sam for nailing the brief x 1000 and making me feel more beautiful than I’d dreamed of, giving me the glam that lasted on a wet and rainy day and even after dancing all night. Any person lucky enough to have you should know just how fab you are! She works hard and it’s noticed

Absolutely loved my makeup lesson with Sam! I’d been struggling with my makeup piling and not sitting right, and she figured out the issue with my base (and what was irritating my skin) within minutes. She taught me so many helpful tips and made everything feel easy. Thank you again so much!

I was super lucky to book Sam in for my wedding day. Sam has been so easy to get along with and listens to what you are wanting to achieve which made me feel at ease to speak up when I wanted slight changes. My makeup looked so flawless the whole day and the little touch up kit was so handy. Sam was super funny and brought such a fun vibe to our morning! She made everyone feel at ease and chatted easily to everyone. My bridesmaid told me it was the most beautiful she had felt after having her makeup done and I couldn’t agree more! I decided against getting a tan for my day and Sam did amazing at getting the perfect shade to help this pale girl feel like a fairy! Highly recommend Sam for anyone wanting a flawless look for their big day, Sam’s skill is insane and definitely shows her love for her work!
