Thank you so much for our album. Everyone is so impressed by the unique pictures and loved the contrast of black and white. The album is not just photos, the way you’ve presented it is like a diary of our day and it bought back so many memories.
With all our visitors and organising the day was a bit of a blur so it was really special to have those captured moments. You were so unobtrusive on the day that no one was self conscious of being photographed, and in fact the relaxed informal photos that are among my favourites are testimony to the fact that people didn’t even realise you were there. It made having all the photos taken a very painless process!I’m so pleased that we chose you to being our photographer, and would always recommend you to others – as I don’t intend doing it all again ina hurry! Thank you again, it really meant a lot to us.

On the wedding day, Perry was patient, inspired and most of all discrete. Many of our friends and family have since been astounded by the beautiful photos that Perry took as he was completely unobtrusive during the day but able to snap the most idyllic and perfect shots. Right from choosing a photographer Perry stood out. The website showed us the wow factor that we were looking for to capture our special day. Perry was eager to please, focused on capturing just what we wanted in our wedding album, understood how important our needs were and was professional and calming. Our guests were amazed at how unobtrusive he was and we were amazed at the photos taken, not knowing he was still around.
The albums blew away all we expected… …the albums take our breath away, they are epic. We cant stop looking at them and our family and friends all agree with us, Perry is a truly talented person and it shows in his work. Wow!

We are over the moon with the album, and the large print as well. We took the print to get framed last week and the ladies at the framing shop said they were the most amazing photo’s they had seen, and I’d say they would have seen quite a few come through in their industry that is for sure!
So many of our friends have seen the album now, and all of them end up with the same opinion, they are horribly disappointed with their own wedding albums…
In future, we will always recommend you to anyone we know who is getting married, and if we show them our album, I can just about guarantee they’ll be giving you a call.

Zahn was one of the first photographers we contacted about photographing our wedding and after looking around and talking to several others (as you do) we decided to go ahead and book him. When we met him for the first time he was professional but laid back, he listened to our ideas and was upfront about costs and options.
Throughout the whole process his communication was excellent, he replied to our emails promptly (which we found was not all that common and really helps when you’re trying to organise things!). He met us again at the venue closer to the wedding to scope out good locations for photos which helped put our minds at ease. On the day Zahn did a great job directing the photos without getting in the way and managed to get a great selection of natural, intimate photos, posed photos and big epic shots.
It was an extremely windy day and he went out of his way to get great photos, I think if we had jumped in the ocean he probably would have jumped in as well just to get that perfect shot! We have had so many compliments on our wedding photos and now we have the hard job of picking which ones we want in albums etc because there are just so many amazing ones!

Perry was both friendly and professional and was able to organise our excited wedding party efficiently and to maximum effect. We really enjoyed his sense of humour and relaxed attitude as it made the afternoon so much more enjoyable for us. Perry was very discrete at the wedding ceremony and reception and really captured us and our friends and family in a natural way.
The album far exceeded our expectations and everyone who has seen it has been amazed at how fabulous the photos look and how well the album is composed. Our parents also arranged for smaller albums for themselves with an identical layout to ours. This is a great option for them as they love to show off the photos to their friends! They are delighted to report that people have asked for Perry’s contact details as a result of seeing the albums.

Making the decision on which photographer to use for our wedding day was very daunting. We flicked through so many magazines, scoured the web and looked through endless pages until we concluded that we would go with Perry Trotter photography. There was something about your images that gave us a gut feel of yes, we want them to shoot our wedding.

This was only reaffirmed on our wedding day - you were amazing, truly professional, really easy to have around, we felt like we have known you for a while. That made it easier for us to relax and just enjoy the day as you captured the most amazing images of our wedding. We can honestly say that every time we look through them, we relive the day. The fact that you went above and beyond and spent the entire day with us (which was a very long day) was truly impressive. The quality of the images and the emotion captured is truly amazing.

We would not hesitate in recommending Perry Trotter as a wedding photographer. We had a fabulous day and Perry has captured that perfectly in his photos. He made sure that the whole wedding party was relaxed, and was prepared to go to all sorts of lengths to get great photos!
Before the wedding Perry listened to what we wanted, and then made sure that he produced exactly that. On the day he arrived early, and was extremely organised and attentive. He was not flustered by rain, strong winds and a last minute change of venue for the photos, but rather managed to use the weather to create awesome shots that we wouldn’t have got otherwise. During the ceremony he was quiet and unobtrusive, yet managed to capture the whole procedure without causing any disruption. We absolutely love the photos, and everyone who has seen them has commented on how great they are.

The hardest part of having Zahn and Perry as photographers is choosing which photos to print and hang on the wall! Seriously though, they made the whole process so enjoyable and relaxing – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. While I was more than happy to have Zahn with me and the girls all day, Bryan was less than thrilled at the thought of having a ‘random photographer’ follow him around. But as the photos show, Perry soon put him at ease and managed to capture some great shots of the boys before the ceremony. From the standard family must-have photos, to some truly magical ones (they look like something from Alice in Wonderland, you wouldn’t know there was anyone else there but us); from photographs on the beach, to in the pouring rain; I am so very thankful that I came across Perry Trotter Photography! Thanks guys.

Looking through them is the most enjoyable experience as it feels like we can re-live the whole day! We’ve also loved showing them to all our family and friends and have had nothing but positive feedback, everyone is amazed by the photos you took up on North Head and on Cheltenham beach. You made whole process easy, fun and professional. It was such a relief not to have to worry about organising people for the family photos, all your directions were excellent and we’re so happy with how they turned out. And the sunset photos! Well I suppose a Bride and Groom’s biggest worry after the wedding has got to be the photos. Will they come out, will they be great, and will we have the right look. Finally the photos arrive and for Glenn and I it was wonderful and emotional moment. It was amazing to be in a position where there were TOO many good photos to choose from. They were amazing, everything we asked for and more. The mix of photos was great and each and every moment seems to have beencaptured.

After checking out your portfolio from the comfort of our sofa in the UK we were really excited at the prospect of having you as our wedding photographer. You put us at ease with your relaxed chilled and professional approach and the day went by with no interruptions. Everybody has commented on how the photos look like magazine shots. They certainly lived up to our expectations. Family and friends back in England loved being able to check the photos out online soon after the wedding had taken place and one of my bridesmaids even said that she would fly you to the UK to have you photograph her wedding – we just need to find her a fiance!

It was well worth having the two photographers as you both captured different aspects of the day that just couldn't have been done without the two of you! You also worked really well together, while one was shooting the other was setting up for the next shot, which made the photos flow very smoothly. From day one, you both made us and everyone involved feel so comfortable and at ease with the whole day. You listened to the vision we had in mind for our photos and as a result, the locations you found were perfect for us.
Not only that, but you managed to capture the most important parts of the day, including all the emotions of ourselves and guests, and we hardly knew you were there! We couldn't have asked for more.
The finished images were so amazing, our only complaint was they were all so incredible we couldn't choose which ones to print!! We are constantly getting lovely comments from visitors who see the photos around the house.

After checking out your portfolio from the comfort of our sofa in the UK we were really excited at the prospect of having you as our wedding photographer. You put us at ease with your relaxed chilled and professional approach and the day went by with no interruptions. Everybody has commented on how the photos look like magazine shots. They certainly lived up to our expectations. Family and friends back in England loved being able to check the photos out online soon after the wedding had taken place and one of my bridesmaids even said that she would fly you to the UK to have you photograph her wedding – we just need to find her a fiance!

We really appreciated your calm and professional manner. Rachel was really pleased that you made her feel comfortable in front of the camera while she was the centre of attention. My wife and I were married on November 8 this year and Perry was our wedding photographer. We were so impressed with him and his work that we wanted to let everyone know about it. I have dealt with and worked with many wedding photographers in the past due to a previous business venture and I have to say that I have not encountered a single one that would measure up to Perry. He was very calm, lending a relaxed attitude to the event, while maintaining a very professional attitude. At no time during our day was he intrusive and,in fact, many guests commented on how they hardly knew he was there. Perry was friendly, polite and interacted (when he needed to) with all the guests and wedding party brilliantly. We waited less than two weeks for the delivery of our photos, which is extremely good considering the number of shots taken, and the quality of the photos we received was superb.

From start to finish Perry was just amazing to work with. We choose him because we loved his pictures but also because we wanted a discreet photographer and his references suggested that he was just that. We have been to weddings where the photographer got right in the way, bossed everyone around and detracted from the event.
We hardly noticed Perry through out the whole day and at the end of it we had the most breathtaking pictures that were natural and relaxed.
I would not hesitate in recommending Perry, he was an absolute pleasure to have around on our big day. We had a large bridal party and we weren’t the most natural bunch in front of a camera but he put us completely at ease. We were so thrilled with the end result. We have had endless comments from our family and friends about how impressive the pictures are, we certainly think the same! He travelled from Auckland to Taranaki to photograph our wedding and he even came a day early to put us at ease about flight delays.
I could just go on and on about how happy we are with the service we received and the pictures but I will leave it there!

Perry was both friendly and professional and was able to organise our excited wedding party efficiently and to maximum effect. We really enjoyed his sense of humour and relaxed attitude as it made the afternoon so much more enjoyable for us. Perry was very discrete at the wedding ceremony and reception and really captured us and our friends and family in a natural way.
The album far exceeded our expectations and everyone who has seen it has been amazed at how fabulous the photos look and how well the album is composed. Our parents also arranged for smaller albums for themselves with an identical layout to ours. This is a great option for them as they love to show off the photos to their friends! You were so un-intrusive and discreet that we have had guests wondering who was our photographer and when you were there! Many people have commented that you have really captured the mood of the day and just how happy Simon and I look. Both comments are a real testimony to the way you made us feel on the day and your ability to see where the great shots should be taken.
All that remains to be said is thank you for keeping me calm, thank you for being patient with the guests and ultimately thank you for capturing the whole essence of our wonderful day. Rachel and I have no hesitation in recommending Perry Trotter to anyone in need of an excellent wedding photographer.
Perry was both friendly and professional and was able to organise our excited wedding party efficiently and to maximum effect. We really enjoyed his sense of humour and relaxed attitude as it made the afternoon so much more enjoyable for us. Perry was very discrete at the wedding ceremony and reception and really captured us and our friends and family in a natural way.
The album far exceeded our expectations and everyone who has seen it has been amazed at how fabulous the photos look and how well the album is composed. Our parents also arranged for smaller albums for themselves with an identical layout to ours. This is a great option for them as they love to show off the photos to their friends! They are delighted to report that people have asked for Perry’s contact details as a result of seeing the albums.

My husband and I are from the US, but we got married in New Zealand. Originally, we planned to have our ceremony in the Central Otago area on the South Island. But then we found Perry and his beautiful photography. We changed our plans and got married in Leigh on the North Island, so that Perry could be our photographer. What a wonderful decision that turned out to be! Perry was professional, accommodating, and personable, and communicated with us frequently and promptly as we planned our big day. And our photos turned out absolutely beautiful!!

What an excellent decision we made. Perry was professional, took charge on the day and made us feel comfortable. He went out of his way to capture what we were after.

The locations we were taken to were completely within our specifications that we provided. We really felt like Perry went above and beyond to capture our day! He took us out for a gorgeous sunset photo which is utterly divine.

A lot of thought, attention to detail and passion went into the day. We felt quite special and the time we were away from our guests was managed correctly.

My husband and I reached out to Zahn when we decided to have a second wedding ceremony in New Zealand. Zahn is a friend of ours, so we were expecting things to be quite casual however, he was very professional that day and exceeded our expectations with our wedding photos. He captured many angles, which is impressive for only having him to shoot our wedding!

My husband and I were also laid back because we were wedding’d out from the first ceremony, so we didn’t exactly plan our photoshoot here and on top of that, there was a giant cloud over us. Thankfully, Zahn visited the site earlier and planned some stuff out for us. We even explored together and found a neat spot where all the Pohutakawa’s were in bloom. If you are daring, ask for him to do whatever he wants -- we did and we recieved some of the most unique and gorgeous wedding photos I have ever seen!

Thank you does not suffice in expressing our gratitude to both of you for capturing our wedding day! We chose to say 'I do' in Queenstown as I had always wanted a winter wonderland wedding. You fulfilled our dream and vision! As I look back on our photos I am so proud and happy to have them!

When we look at the photos we can hardly believe that it was us! You captured our day so magnificently we were blown away. It was not only the photographs that were amazing but your like ability and professionalism. I felt like we had known you for years as we felt so at home and relaxed when you were shooting us. You are a fireball team and am very glad we got both of you!

One of the absolute highlights was after the ceremony when we flew by helicopter to Cecil Peak in Queenstown. Even in the negative temperatures you made it such a magical experience! Family, friends and people I have never met have told me that these were the best wedding photos they had ever seen. An absolute league of their own. We will never get tired of looking at the moments captured up the mountain. The best decision we made!

Throughout the entire day you were both so fun and professional! You were the best decision we made. You captured every moment through ceremony to reception and I am so so glad!

I believe the best wedding photographers in the country! Thank you for capturing memories so real that it takes us back in a heart beat!
