Flaxmere House is a small boutique venue with luxury accommodation all under one roof. Located in the Bethells Valley near both Bethells Beach and Bethells Lake, Flaxmere House is a stunning location to host your wedding. We specialise in small to medium size weddings up to 80 people and accommodation for up to 20 guests can stay onsite. Vanessa is the Flaxmere House Manager and wedding planner along with Victoria who help organise your day. With many packages available and years of experience in weddings and events we are here to do everything from set up your entire day to helping liaise with other vendors making your day personal, professional and less stressful. We take pride in our array of beautiful food options from canapes, desserts, a smoked spit, mains and salads. When my partner and I visited, we knew this was where we wanted to say our I do’s and spend time with our loved ones. We recently had our wedding here and it was all that we could have hoped for and more. We chose Flaxmere House for a number of reasons; the on-site accomodation, the location and for the fact that Vanessa and her team take care of basically everything for you, and they did not disappoint! Everything ran seamlessly and was exactly what we were after, right from our first on site meeting, the food tasting day, right through to our final check in and look through the day before the wedding. The food was stunning and the chef, Victoria, was amazing in making sure all dietary restrictions were looked after as well as everyone else. We received loads of compliments on the day and since on both the venue and the team, which really is a testament to Vanessa. Thank you again for everything!

We had a lovely intimate wedding at Flaxmere House and it was fantastic! We had just 2 weeks to prepare and Vanessa did an amazing job! She listened to my ideas and ran with them creating a perfect setting. With just one meeting in person and one zoom i was thrilled with the results! The food was amazing and the team worked seamlessly on the day. Our whole party stayed overnight and enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast in the morning. I can't thank Vanessa enough for coming through for us everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have given awesome feedback on the setting. THANK YOU Vanessa and team even though we were a small group you still made us feel so special! ❤

My wife and I got married at Flaxmere House this past weekend and it was just the most perfect day. Everything from the planning stage through to the day itself was just a breeze. The venue is in a beautiful spot with loads of photo opportunities on site or a quick drive away. The team at Flaxmere House made our wedding totally stress free and I would definitely recommend this venue to others. Also, the food was phenomenal. Highly recommended

We celebrated the BEST DAY OF OUR LIFE and this was much to the credit of Vanessa and her team at Flaxmere House. Choosing the venue for our wedding and reception was one of the best decisions we could have made. The grounds, vibe, character and the rugged beauty of Flaxmere blew us away; we were set on this venue from day one. Throughout the whole planning process, Vanessa was exceptional. Her efficiency, smiley nature, expertise, advice and ability to help accommodate our requirements in any way, shape or form were faultless. We always looked forward to catching up in person with Vanessa and sharing with her the development of our decoration ideas, timeline for the day, catering and drink requirements - nothing was ever a problem. We felt very special and looked after at every step in the process. The day could not have been more perfect. From the delicious canapés through to our buffet menu - the food stood out no end. So many guests commented that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. TOP NOTCH. All in all, the day was magical, ran amazingly and Vanessa was just the best. We will be forever grateful to Flaxmere House. You truly made our day what it was.

Vanessa kindly let us take chairs and table down to the beach. The food was fantastic- we really enjoyed the food tasting that we got to do as part of the package.
