Imogen & Daniel, The Farmers Daughter.

Tell us a bit about your love story

"We've known each other since we were teenagers, through tennis. Daniel proposed while
we were holidaying up north on New Year's Day, it was the best start to the year! We had the
most relaxed day, spent kayaking and swimming at the beach. We had pizza for dinner, then
went to the beach to watch the sunset, and that's when Daniel proposed! We did a beach
walk afterwards to soak in the moment and then went back to our Airbnb for champagne!"

What was one non-negotiable for your wedding?

"Having a small and intimate guest list!"

What was one of the best decisions you made for your big day?

"Cocktail hour with marshmallows by the fire - it gave us the chance to take a step back,
take in the moment, and catch up with friends and family."

Did you include anything non-traditional in your wedding?

"Both mum and dad walked Imogen down the aisle; in general, our wedding was not
traditional at all!"

What is one thing that surprised you?

"How much fun it is! We were both so calm in the lead-up. We didn't want to put unrealistic expectations or pressure on ourselves, so we very much went with the flow for everything. It was genuinely the best day of our lives!"

What advice would you share with other couples beginning their wedding planning journey?

"Try not to put too much pressure on yourself and focus on creating a day that is special to
you. Your friends and family will have an amazing time no matter what, as they're there to
support you and want the best for you!"
