How did you two meet?

"Chris and I met in high school almost 11 years ago! We were both young and so in love."

What was the proposal like?

"I've always said I would love for my future husband to propose in front of our loved ones & Chris did just that on Christmas Day in 2020. We had both our families there, and it was perfect."

What kind of wedding did you plan?

"A little bit of everything! Chris and I are from different cultures, so we wanted to bring that into it without the pressure. We just wanted our family and friends to come together as one and have an incredible night. It was unique because of the cultures - but also classy and relaxed."

What is your favourite memory from the big day?

"There were so many, so it's hard to choose just one! I'd say walking down the aisle and seeing Chris for the first time on our wedding day. I felt so many different overwhelming emotions but seeing his face made me feel at ease."

Did everything go to plan?

"Nearly. We had a couple of indoor fireworks and smoke machine issues during the first dance, but only we knew what we had planned, so our guests had no idea. It worked out because it was still a beautiful moment."

What do you consider the best wedding investment you made?

"Photography & videography for sure! It's so nice knowing we have these keepsakes and can look back at them whenever we want."

What is one thing you wish you had known before planning and having your wedding?

"Plan everything far in advance to avoid any disappointment! If there is a vendor you really want, don't wait to book them. Do it ASAP because other couples might already be in contact with them."

Who was your outstanding wedding vendor?

"All of our vendors were incredible! We were so lucky to have vendors who cared so much about making our day perfect and special. I loved working with Lambert and Kelly (our photographer and videographer), as well as Melanie from The Maritime Room. Also cannot forget about my breathtaking dress made by Jenny - she nailed my custom-made dress. Our vendors really listened to what we wanted and helped us achieve that. They showed so much care, and we could see their passion for what they do through their work. It was super easy to work with them all; they made us feel comfortable and excited."
