Maddison and Jackson

Maddison and Jackson shared that one of their favourite moments from their wedding day was "looking around and seeing a room full of people we love enjoying themselves and connecting with one another."

What was your wedding photography experience like?

"Our photographer (Ellie Kia) was the best investment we made. You can't put a price on the memories she was able to capture. We aren't big photo people, and the thought of being in front of the camera made us both a little uncomfortable, but Ellie made those fears disappear from our first "hello. She was wonderful. She was direct when she needed to be but then disappeared to let little moments happen on their own."

What is one piece of wedding advice you'd share with other couples planning their wedding?

"When it gets closer to the day, learn to let go. The timeline doesn't matter. The tiny details don't matter. If you spend all your energy aiming for "perfect" you'll miss so many special moments. The best parts of the day won't be planned. Let them surprise you."
