Meenu and Pranshu's wedding was a modern-meets-traditional affair.

This multi-day celebration included a vibrant sunset cruise on the harbour, a traditional Mehndi party, an elegant ceremony at Pullman Auckland Hotel and so much more.

“Pranshu and I met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in Seattle. We hit it off straight away, and after the weekend, I flew back to LA. Neither of us was open to long-distance… so four months later, I packed up my life and moved to Seattle."

"We built a home together, adopted our pug Tovi, and two years later, Pranshu proposed at my favourite winery on Bainbridge Island. Even though we live in the U.S., we chose to get married in Auckland—Pranshu’s hometown. It felt incredibly special to bring our friends and family from the States to celebrate with us in the place where he grew up.”

What was one non-negotiable for your wedding?
“A gelato cart instead of a traditional wedding cake!”

What do you consider the best investment you made, and why?
“Our photographer—without a doubt. He captured the day perfectly and helped bring our vision to life in every possible way.”

Did you include anything non-traditional in your wedding?
“Yes! Instead of a traditional Sangeet, we hosted a sunset cruise and took all our guests out on the harbour for a boat party. It was such a fun, memorable way to kick things off.”

What’s one thing that surprised you about the day?
“How good we both looked! We’re still not over it.”

What advice would you share with other couples just starting their wedding planning journey?
“It’s your wedding—no one else’s. Take your time, enjoy being engaged, and don’t feel like you have to rush anything. When the day comes, focus on the moment and each other.”
