Mel and Tom's wedding was a show-stopper.

They shared that one of their favourite parts of the day was their first-look ceremony, during which they shared their vows privately.

What wedding planning advice would you share with other couples?

"Our advice for other couples is to enjoy the planning, make the most of the skills family and friends have, and just have fun! This helped us love our wedding day so much more. There was very little stress, which meant that come the wedding day, we were ready for a fun day."

- Mel

A moment for the dress

"Mel's vision was to have a dress that complimented her silhouette and included design elements of interest. The back bodice of her gown features a hidden lace and a cowl. We also made her a glittering veil to add to her dress."

- Nazneen, director of Alter Me

A word on the venues

"Boathouse Row and Glasshouse were spectacular in their own way and worked perfectly together - both photograph so well and reflect our personalities."

- Mel

Who was your photographer?

"Jody from I Do Photography - she was amazing. We felt so comfortable and at ease with her."

- Mel
