What is one moment you will never forget?

"I loved watching Nick's face as I walked down the aisle - it was just me and him; everything else faded away. I loved being in the moment of just us."

What do you consider the best wedding investment you made, and why?

"Our photographer, Nita, was hands down the best! Having memories to look back on and professional, artistic images was really important to us. We had full trust in Nita from the very beginning. Nita has been a friend for years, and she initially did my branding images for my design business and then our engagement photos. She is so good at what she does. She was chill, said what she needed, and instructed us to get the best photos! She was a dream!"

What is one piece of wedding advice you'd share with other couples planning their wedding?

"Don't stress the details. As a perfectionist and creative - I struggled with letting the details get on top of me. I wish I had just let them be. Done is better than perfect, and no one notices all the details as much as you! That and I am so glad I took all of our wedding month off from work. I decided early on that I needed to focus on the wedding (I get very carried away with work being the owner). So, having the month off was the best boundary I set. And I'm so glad I did it."

Are there any other specific vendors you'd like to acknowledge?

"Our florists, Aster and Bloom (Cath), brought my vision to life perfectly! I wanted understated simplicity (In full black and white). And she nailed it. Everything was so perfect.
Also, our venue - The Red Barn, was just amazing! They quietly did their thing behind the scenes to ensure everything went perfectly; Francis and Katy went over and above, and I can't thank them enough!"
