"We first met through our best friends. They were getting married in a few months and were out celebrating. After our first few dates together, it just felt right. We knew this was something special. We spent months planning our special day, and watching it play out surrounded by so many loved ones is something we’ll cherish forever. When we envisioned how we wanted our big day to look and feel, there was no competition when it came to choosing Bridgewater Country Estate. The 16-acre property of native bush and trees was breathtaking. Caleb built our arch himself. It was decorated and placed in front of the chapel where we were married. The team at Bridgewater did a superb job at ensuring their staff were attentive and we had everything we needed. To top it off, our reception was romantic and classic, pretty much everything we had imagined, with lots of beautiful flowers, candles and fairy lights. There were many proud moments during our wedding day. One of the most meaningful parts of my wedding (although there are so many to choose from) was the involvement of our friends. We have them to thank for bringing us together, and we have them to thank for being at our side as we said our vows. Our bridal party were friends we have had since early school years, with heartfelt speeches that made us giggle even as they made us shed tears. As our lives change and we grow older, having all of our friends together was rare and invaluable - having them at our wedding was even more incredible. There’s nothing like experiencing the best moments in your life with some of the best people in your life, and we’ll always be grateful for that gift."
