Styled Shoot: a Beautiful, Bohemian Escape

Embrace escapism with this styled shoot, set in the lush heart of LaValla Estate and infused with earthy, authentic overtones. “When Rosa from La Rosa Wedding Photography first shot at LaValla, she fell in love with the versatility and space that the venue offered,” said Jessica, part of the venue’s talented team. “Inspired by a dreamy and whimsical Boho ambience, this styled shoot was set in a countryside estate with open, landscaped gardens, rustic old buildings and touches of timber dispersed around the site.” A delicate balance was struck, further enhanced by the palette: pops of deep burgundy against cool tones and rust coloured natural flora to complement the amber and bronzed brick. It was all about creating a luxe yet easygoing atmosphere at the same time. “Natural and handmade-inspired furniture framed the setting adding warmth, comfort and a sense of purity,” Jessica went on, “whilst the dried flora complemented [the] touch of native chic to bring the setting to life.” LaValla Estate prides itself on its flexibility and fashion, which is why they were keen to stage this styled shoot with Rosa. The countryside offers an unmatched sense of repose; there’s nothing like a getaway wedding, threaded together with a keen eye for detail. “Signage and furniture conformed to the surrounding landscape to create an Autumn-inspired colour palette,” Jessica told us. “The flowing gown, natural waves and earthy makeup tones were finished with a straw hat to create a look of casual sophistication and perfect the desired style.” Embroidered against the velveteen backdrop of manicured lawns and pastel skies, this styled shoot was a toast to simple beauty in all its incandescence.
