KJ and Reema wanted to modernise their Hindu wedding - blending tradition with quintessential New Zealand elements. They did this beautifully, fusing the best of both of their worlds.
What is your favourite memory from the big day?
"Seeing each other as Reema walked down the aisle! We felt so much happiness that the day had finally arrived"
What do you consider the best wedding investment you made?
"Spending a bit more on the decor! We still get comments about our decor."
Who was your outstanding wedding vendor?
"Soni from 0800Mandap made all our decor dreams a reality. Also, Kasia, our photographer - she made it even more fun and genuinely enjoyed being part of our day."
What is your #1 piece of wedding advice to couples planning their big day?
"If you're an Indian bride, I'd recommend spending some time in advance to find companies overseas to do your outfits and jewellery! I got my hands on so many unique pieces which I would have never found in NZ."
