Kirsten was amazing to work with. We had a backyard wedding in early summer and it poured rain. She popped her shoes off and got stuck right in! She got all of the shots we were looking for and some truly fantastic candids. She knew exactly how to direct us and our guests in order to get the shot. 10/10 would recommend.

We love the photos from our wedding day - a broad range of photos including beautiful portraits over several settings and fun and 'real' moments which perfectly captures the whole day.
Kirsten was adaptive and accommodating to our on the fly requests, even the tricky shots that required a lot of set-up and testing.
She was great at directing us and our guests for planned shots but also amazing at capturing candid moments throughout the day.
She was professional and easy to deal with in discussing what we wanted ahead of the day and guided us further to consider the key moments we wanted to be captured.
She presented the finished photos well to us, including sorting them in order which we know many other photographers don't go to that effort, and produced a highlights slideshow which was lovely to share with our guests after.
We really enjoyed our experience with Kirsten and the beautiful, quality photos. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends and fam.

We met Kirsten and family in Vanuatu in 2012, fast forward to 2015 and there we were again only this time around Kirsten was attending our wedding as our friend so who better to capture it. Our photos turned out amazing and we love them. Kirsten really captured our family and friend's exactly how we wanted it. Kirsten's skill at taking candid and natural photos is what drew me to her as a photographer for our wedding and she did not disappoint. I didn't want posed photos, I wanted real moments, uniqueness, love and silliness and that's exactly what we got with Kirsten.
She listened to us, picked up on what was important to us and took photos that suited us as a couple and our personalities. She never once asked me to pose in a weird position I didn't feel comfortable in and instead was just 100% on board with what we wanted for our day and managed to capture it in a creative and relaxed way.
She has important attention to detail which meant I didn't have to worry and went above and beyond what was expected of her, visiting our home for our engagement shoot and visiting the venue before the big day.
If I was to get married again, I would without a doubt choose Kirsten as the photographer. (just jokes tho love my wife, but no jokes about Kirsten being absolutely brill)

Kirsten was an absolute dream to work with. My (now husband) and I are not overly keen on having photos taken and our main wish was to ‘get a couple of nice photos of us’ on the wedding day. Kirsten more than delivered! Kirsten was so relaxed and friendly it did not feel awkward or like a chore at all - in fact, we had so much fun! And what’s more the photos were amazing! When my husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who had an eye for natural and candid shots. We wanted to capture the simple beauty of our wedding location on our very unique piece of land, our Turangaas well as creating memories of our wedding surrounded by our beautiful blended family and friends. Kirsten met us on-site at our land a few weeks before the wedding because of its unique location. She fell in love with it and won our hearts with her excitement and enthusiasm. On the day, Kirsten was professional to a tee and worked so hard running across the paddock from one end to the other to get those perfect shots as we drive through the river and up on to our land. During the ceremony, we did not notice her at all but she ended up being everywhere, as seen in the gorgeous images she captured. We absolutely love our photos from that very precious day, and we could not have chosen a better person to work with. Kirsten put us at ease, is a great communicator and has a wonderful eye!

An amazing experience! My partner and I had a couples photo shoot on Muriwai beach with Kirsten, we had never done anything like this before so were a bit nervous but it was such a great experience!
