We hired the cliff top venue for our wedding reception and I am absolutely lost for words! Firstly, we chose the venue for the view because it is absolutely to die for! We were so fortunate to have had such amazing weather on the day of our wedding and a beautiful sunset to top the night off! Sonja who is the events manager talked a big game for the vision she had for this place and I can confirm that she has absolutely surpassed her goal! She was so lovely and welcoming from the very minute we met her, very accomodating to our vision and needs! Then we were passed on to our event coordinator (Danielle) who made me feel like we were the best of friends and every meeting was like having a coffee date with your bestie! She made our night run so smoothly! What a superb job she did. We had so many compliments on the food that we chose for our platinum buffet dinner which we were worried was going to be average “buffet food” but the chefs really proved us wrong! Everything ran so perfectly, I cannot fault these guys! Love you so much ❤️I absolutely recommend this venue to other newly engaged couples looking for their perfect wedding spot 🥰

The team at Castaways were flexible and always prepared to accommodate our needs we found that the preparation for the event was detailed and their communication was very good and it allowed us to have a fantastic day the food was a very high quality and our guests both from New Zealand and overseas commented on their food obviously the views are amazing and it is a fantastic place to host a wedding we couldn't be more happy with the reception and the outcome and we have many fantastic memories of photos to look back on over the years I would definitely recommend booking your wedding or your reception at Castaways.

The wedding was absolutely perfect – it was everything I had dreamed of—a sunny day, clear sky, a breathtaking ocean view, a beautiful lawn, and a stunning cliffside backdrop. We are so glad we chose Castaways. Having a beautiful ceremony spot (and a great Plan B option!), reception area and incredible accommodation all at the same place is a dream come true. The facilities are second to none, and that is a testament to everyone who has a role in maintaining them. Oh, and the food! Oh my god, the food completely exceeded all our expectations. You always hope that the food will be nice, but you just never know especially with larger numbers. But the food was amazing! And the portion sizes were ideal too. I've been to a few weddings elsewhere where the portions are tiny, which isn't ideal when weddings are long days and often involve plenty of alcohol! Please pass on our thanks to the chef and the whole team in the kitchen for such a beautiful meal - our guests are still talking about how great the food was. The wait staff were also excellent, super professional and efficient.

Castaways was the most amazing venue to have our wedding at! We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful location with stunning views for our special day. The organisation and preparation for the day was smooth and easy going. The venue and staff catered to our needs and made sure myself, my husband and our guests were well looked after. The food was delicious and we loved how each guest was able to choose their own preferences. The staff were super helpful and extremely friendly! We can not thank the staff that worked on the night of our wedding enough, they did an amazing job. The accomodation at Castaways was perfect as it provided a great place for our wedding party to gather beforehand, during and after the wedding. It just made the event that more special being able to be near all of our family. Thank you so much Castaways for helping us have the best day of our lives!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Castaways on Saturday March 21st and it was beyond perfect! The staff were amazing and i felt they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and took all the stress off us.. They are all so friendly and genuinely lovely people! Our guests raved about the food and how good it was.. Our wedding was so beautiful with amazing views to help capture the perfect moment. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding and we would both highly recommend Castaways for any future bride and groom to have your special day here.

Amazing Views, amazing food and great venue for weddings big or small, rooms do need a bit of an update but the view and the sound of the waves worth the stay! My husband and I had our wedding here...best choice we ever made! Great service by all staff throughout the process and on the day...a big Thank you to Danielle who was so helpful she made everything so easy...everything timed perfectly...thanks Castaways for making our wedding day the best it could be!!

Our wedding experience at Castaways Resorts was outstanding! Everything from the planning the big day with Danielle and Marie to the day itself was made a breeze. Kyle was amazing! He ran the wedding day for us, it ran so smoothly I had no worry in the world, and even with little hiccups you did it with the biggest smile on your face made our day one to never forget. The venue was absolutely stunning, being able to stay on sight made it that more special and no worry in the world. Outstanding service! The food was delicious!! Had so many compliments especially about the lamb shanks!! For anyone wanting to have a wedding at Castaways Resort I cant recommend enough!
