Glasshouse Luxe: Light it Up

Glasshouse is such a stunning space, made even more stunning by the way light filters through. Fascinated by this, this team of creatives took to the drawing board to design a shoot that fell in the same way the light did: softly, opulently, idyllically. “We wanted to use crystal chandeliers shimmering in the daylight, giving a luxurious element to this incredible space,” Kristina from La Lumiere told us. “The simple palette of black and white, flanked by elements of greenery to tie into the surroundings, was perfect. It allowed the chandeliers to come to life as the sun set.” This shoot at Glasshouse was brought about the success of their previous shoot, with the same team of creatives at the helm and a few new additions. It was a chance for innovative minds to come together to do what they do best and create something tangibly beautiful all over again. Combining the splendour of the venue with natural aspects was a welcome challenge for the team. “Another [challenge] was getting the chandeliers to look as though they were hanging from thin air and defying gravity,” Kristina said. “It opened up so many more possibilities for what can be done at Glasshouse. As always, it was important that the uniformity of all the elements were just right and worked harmoniously. It was great fun getting to use some of Darby & Grey's gorgeous new furniture.”
