What was the proposal like?
"It was very sweet - we had my ring made together a few months earlier, so I was holding out for Josh to propose. On a weekend trip to Mt Maunganui, we went for a walk along the beach before dinner. We walked in silence for what felt like forever. When Josh got down on one knee, it all made sense! It was beautiful and intimate - we were the only two on the beach."
Did you include anything non-traditional in your wedding?
"My mum walked me down the aisle. I only had two bridesmaids, whereas Josh has three groomsmen. We had an audio phone recorder for our guest book, which we loved! I had three dresses!"
What is your favourite memory from the big day?
"Seeing Josh as I walked down the aisle - he's not a crier, but I could tell he was doing everything to hold it together. (Later he told me he was doing math in his head to stop himself from losing it haha). I also loved pouring the champagne tower with Josh it was such a fun way to get the party started after our ceremony."
