Samantha and Zach's love story is one of reaching new heights. Quite literally.
"We met in 2012 at a crowded flat party in Dunedin. We spent the entire night talking and planned a hike up Signal Hill for the very next day."
Fast forward.
"Zach proposed on our trip to Sri Lanka for our friends' wedding in 2019. Staying true to our adventuring selves, we climbed an incredibly tall tower that took us right up into the clouds. Zach proposed at the top, and it was an absolute dream."

What was the best investment you made for your big day?
"The team at Mudbrick were phenomenal - answering our questions and providing checklists, floor plans and recommendations. Their attention to detail in the lead-up to our day meant we could focus solely on soaking up every moment. Our celebrant and MC Estelle Clifford created the most magical and heartfelt energy, and our photographer Ellie Hashemi, captured it beautifully. We couldn't pick which photo to print first! Both Ellie and Estelle listened to us and delivered on the fun, natural and timeless style we were looking for. We would recommend them in a heartbeat."

What would be your advice to other couples planning their big day?
"There are so many buy/swap/sell, second-hand and pay-it-forward wedding sites that are definitely worth exploring. You may find some fantastic pre-loved items that are exactly what you're looking for and within budget."
