Lakeside nuptials

By Avya Trotter-Hlavac

A magical lakeside-styled shoot featuring the lovely Harry and Jasmine. We spoke to Ellie Kia, the talent behind the lens for this Styled Shoot: What was the concept/ inspiration for the shoot? "When Lindy reached out to me for this styled shoot, the primary goal was to highlight the various spaces within Boathouse Row. During my on-site visit, I was struck by the serene and gentle atmosphere alongside the tranquil lake. The selection of the colour palette was flawlessly executed by Debby from Wildly, Deeply Madly." Do you have any advice for couples seeking wedding inspiration? "Create a vision board with images, colours, and styles that resonate with you. This visual representation will help you narrow down your ideas to provide a clear direction. Decide on the overall theme or style that reflects your personality and preferences. Whether it's rustic, vintage, bohemian, or modern, having a theme will make choosing d├ęcor, colours, and details easier. Consult with the experts - wedding planners, designers, and florists can offer valuable insights. Infuse your personality and unique love story into your wedding. Personal touches, such as custom vows, family traditions, or your favourite hobbies, can add depth and meaning to your celebration. Stay true to your budget. While it's exciting to dream big, setting a realistic budget and sticking to it is essential. By prioritizing, you can achieve a beautiful wedding on a budget. Finally, remember what matters the most! Focus on the love and commitment you share with your partner."
